Complete wilderness I woke up with a bald eagle flying in circles over my hammock about 200 ft up. What a way to start the day! Started off paddling fast as hell in awsome weather. Had to get 30 miles with a late start but we did it. Luckily we passed through the best part of the river I've seen yet, if you ever get the chance, take it.
At one point, however, we were trapped by barges, louisville is the gantlet for real. We had a wake almost capsize the boat and it filled up with water. Still alive.
