day 22, birds and Phil Collins
Today, I used Wal mart. I used it to buy a go pro 3 and bug spray. I also used a grocery store to use the restroom while Phil Collins played in the back round. Great day.
We at mile 494, I think, and tomorrow should be a big day as no rain in schedule. Today, however, slowed us down. With insane hurricane style rain at 4 am this morning until 9 or so we had to dry our stuff out.
I seen a guy fishing by a power plant, I think he wanted to catch a three eyed fish for ripley's n'at. Also power plants are everywhere, pollution is everywhere, it's disgusting. We need to be a little more aware of this stuff. I know most of you don't care and think it would be a waste of time to pick up a piece of trash, but all that stuff adds up. All of us that don't care add up, also, all of us that do care about the earth can add up. I know I'm going to try to clean up other peoples camp sites as I go and pick up plastic bottles if I can. The little stuff adds up, let's all try and maybe we can breath some fresher air, and have some cleaner water.
Anyway, I'm probably a hipocrit for shopping at Wal mart n'at, but I know I'm not perfect, neither are you, but we can always get better.
Also, I saw a lot of birds today with it starting with a hawk soaring 30 ft over my head. Also saw 2 white harings for the first time. And watched about 15000 sparrows fly in uniform for 10 minutes, I wish you could have seen it. I got video of some of it and when I'm done with the trip should have an awsome video to share.
Piece out, stay in school.
