day 55: Neptune is angry, Jesus is not

Wow, what a day.  Started off with a beautiful cup of Ramons and bacon bits.  The next thing I knew I was in the middle of a river that didn't forgive me for the rest of the day.  Imagine an ocean current mixed with 30 mph winds, with 35 barge tow boats going past, and a ride at an amusement park all mixed into one, that was today.

We were literally being tossed left to right, up and down, and back and forth alllll  day because of the wind.  10 ft waves were at the for front of today's adventure.  The boat was constantly taking on water and while being thrown by huuuuuge  wakes Erik had to channel jedi energy to pump out the water before we got mispositioned to face a wave.  If it were not for my conditioning  I would be puking because of sea sickness.

Aside from going about 1 mile an hour at points and battling winds, current, and wake only a large barge should be able to handle we still ended up making it 26 miles, don't ask me how.  Actually if you asked me how I'd say, I don't know, I must be a beast jedi master or something.

Also, without even realizing, we ended up at a casino again.  Also were in Mississippi the state now.  Watching sunday night football.  Also our boats are on a hill side, and in the way here we say a copperhead snake.  And earlier today I say a coyote, beautiful animal.  Also we saw a huge flock of great white cranes.

Ya, that kind of day.

609 miles to new orleans
Bald eagle count, 28
